How we deal with them

There are various treatments for freckles, spots and discoloration, depending on the cause and severity of the problem. Some of the more common treatments include:

  • Topical creams: The topical creams containing hydroquinone, azelaic acid or tranexamic acid they can help whiten the skin and reduce the appearance of freckles and blemishes.
  • Chemical peels: Chemical peels can remove the outer layers of skin, revealing younger, more even skin.
  • Laser treatment: Laser treatment can target areas of hyperpigmentation and reduce melanin production.
  • Sun protection: Using a broad-spectrum sunscreen and avoiding peak sun exposure can help prevent new freckles and spots.

Healing Tip: We always use sunscreen with a high protection index (SPF 50+).

It is important to consult a dermatologist to diagnose the cause of our freckles, spots or discoloration and discuss the best treatment options for us.
