It all began in Bordeaux, in the heart of the vineyards of Château Smith Haut Lafitte – Mathilde’s family estate. Caudalie is, above all, a beautiful story of love, place, encounters and audacity. During the harvest at Château Smith Haut Lafitte, Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas met Professor Joseph Vercauteren, director of the pharmacy laboratory at the University of Bordeaux.
