Ducray was born in 1901 in Paris, to Albert Ducray, a young hairdresser. Albert Ducray quickly realized the effects of soap powder used as shampoo.
Between 1929 and 1931, being the son of a dermatologist, Ducray created his own brand and developed LIK Savon, a revolutionary range of single-dose shampoos adapted to different hair types.
In the 1980s, Ducray strengthened with the trust of health professionals, accepted the challenge and developed Ictyane, which became a leader in dry skin care thanks to its revolutionary formulation.
Therefore, Ducray has reached a new milestone in its history and created a new indicator for improving the quality of life. The goal is to accurately measure the impact of skin disorders on patients' lives in order to better guide them in using appropriate care.
In 2010, Ducray started a new chapter, guided by a firm belief: useful innovation. At Ducray, they firmly believe that they can go one step further in treatment of skin disorders.
