King Gillette created the first shaving machine security especially to bring his best elements shaving of the barber in every man's house. And although he expected to continue to improve his designs until no further improvement was possible, the evolution of men's shavers continued even after the death of King Gillette from the company that bears his name.
His story shaving developed alongside the evolution of men's shavers. The shape of the head and the number of blades have changed over time and the moving head has been added to the handles (as in the ProGlide with FlexBall technology) to mimic the movements of the barber's wrist and achieve the best possible contact between the shaving and skin.
Each new approach to Gillette razors brings us closer to replicating the craftsmanship of the barber. As technology advances, so do they shavers, grooming machines, shaving gels and foams and other grooming products.
