A FEW WORDS ABOUT HER iPP!
Georg Hipp (1905-1967) was particularly active in promoting the bun in Munich by selling it door to door. Soon his parents' premises were too small. So Georg Hipp took over and founded it HiPP in Pfaffenhofen in 1932.
Bread for children was still on the German market even in the 1970s.
In the middle of the 20th century, Georg Hipp decided to start industrial production weaning foods following the American model. In 1957-58, four items were first introduced to the market: two types of vegetable meals and two menus.
Very soon (1959-1960), the packaging changed from metal cans to much easier to use hygienic safe jars. HiPP's product range was constantly growing, from juices to special children's food and meat preparations, from children's desserts to children's menus and wholemeal fruit creams.
Simultaneously with the first industrial production baby food, Georg Hipp started in 1956, with the cultivation of fruits and vegetables in natural soil and without the use of chemicals. The family farm Ehrensberg near Pfaffenhofen was then converted into an organic farm. Son Claus and his two brothers, Georg and Paulus, took over management in 1967 and step by step developed the concept of organic farming.
As a pioneer of organic farming, Claus Hipp personally went from farmer to farmer to contribute to the difficult task of raising awareness. Gradually he managed to convince the farmers of his idea, and managed to create a network of organic farms.
WHAT MAKES HIPP UNIQUE!
The HiPP baby food they are made with only the most pure materials of nature, which is why strict and specific production conditions have been set in the contracts with its organic producer partners. Only lands that meet the strict conditions set by HiPP are used as growing lands for the raw materials for its products.
For example, only fields and orchards with fruit trees that are far enough from industrial areas and highways are selected.
